Enameled pipes are a unique combination of the mechanical strength of steel and the corrosion resistance of glass.
Our company produces enameled pipes on the inner surface (DSTU 8936:2019, DSTU 8943:2019 and DSTU 8938:2019) from DN 25 to DN 300, with a length of 6 to 12 meters from various steel grades.
Enameled pipes are used:
- In hot and cold water supply systems;
- In fire extinguishing systems
- in the food industry (production of sugar, oil, dairy products);
- in the oil and gas industry
- transportation of gas and oil;
- in the chemical industry.
Technological characteristics of the coating (chemical resistance, mg/cm2):
- Water resistance – 0.01-0.05 mg/cm 2 *h;
- alkali resistance – from 0.4-0.6 mg/cm 2 *h;
- acid resistance – from 0.1-0.8 mg/cm 2 *h;
- impact strength – 5-9 J.
Advantages of enamel coating
Enamel coating protects pipes from corrosion and stray currents (the service life of the pipe increases by 5-10 times). Due to the smooth surface inside the pipe, the amount of deposits is significantly reduced. The throughput increases and hydraulic losses are reduced (this makes it possible to design pipelines with a smaller cross-section and use equipment with lower power). Enamel coating is the cheapest way to protect pipelines and increases the service life of pipelines several times. It is environmentally friendly and has high manufacturability.
The connection of pipeline elements is carried out by means of electric or gas welding. The protection of the inner surface of the welded joint is carried out by means of a special low-temperature paste, which is applied to the inner surface of the elements being welded. Thus, the continuity of the enamel coating of the inner surface of the pipeline is ensured.
Our company produces a full range of pipeline components: bends, transitions, 90 ° tees , 45 ° tees , plugs, threaded connections and much more.
Our company also enamels non-standard products up to 3m long and 600mm in diameter.
